As cities grow and density builds, high-rise buildings are becoming more numerous and common.
To address that trend and the changing needs and challenges faced by first responders, two of Massey’s leaders will be training Vancouver first responders at the 2017 High-Rise Symposium in October.
The symposium aims to educate participants on modern firefighting approaches, prevention strategies and code application as it relates to high-rise structures.
Massey President and founder Curtis Massey along with Senior Fire Officer John Miller, who spent his career with the LAFD will be leading the event.
They are experts in disaster planning and knowledge especially in high-rise structures. Both Curtis and John have traveled the world educating various groups on a number of topics pertaining to high-rise structures and will bring a wealth of knowledge to the Symposium.
