On Saturday May 21, Massey Emergency Management, CBRE and the Philadelphia Fire Department conducted a major high-rise firefighting exercise in Center City at the 54-story BNY Mellon Center on Market Street.
Over 80 fire personnel participated in the training event, involving the use of the Massey App by both PFD command and CBRE’s building staff during the 3 hour session which also involved rotational station tactics and strategy education for firefighters prior to the drill kick-off taught by Massey instructors.
The large-scale drill was a huge success and was covered by 3 local news networks, as well as a radio station.
