One of the largest cities in the Southeast has deployed The Massey App to its first responder agencies.
Atlanta Fire Rescue and Atlanta Police (Special Operations/SWAT) launched the program Feb. 1.
It’s the latest in a trend sweeping the country, as first responders incorporate digital age technology into response capabilities.
Incident commanders will now be able to access Massey Plan information on mobile tablets when responding to an emergency 24/7, saving minutes when seconds count.
Police and/or fire departments in 9 of the largest 11 metropolitan areas of the U.S. have now embraced this advanced technology in just the past 10 months.
